The site is presented for the benefit of those with interests in the preservation, research, collection and shooting of historic rifles, with particular reference to British, Commonwealth and other associated military miniature-calibre training and target-shooting rifles. Both common and uncommon examples are represented.
This reference website was started more than twenty years ago in conjunction with the establishment of National postal shooting leagues for the subject rifles. Those leagues remain active to this day, although now run by another group of unpaid volunteers. However, entry details, forms and results for these leagues are still posted on site.
All those years on from its inception, this not-for-profit site remains, as has always been the case, independently and privately run by a single enthusiast.
If you appreciate and avail yourself of this widely used reference facility, and wish to see it further expand and improve, your donation will help ensure that funds remain available to both keep the site online, and to assist with the expenses of further research, acquisition and preparation of new material, plus hosting and server running costs that have all hitherto been footed personally by the now otherwise fully retired webmaster.
Thank you for your help and appreciation.
